I came to brain enhancement as a result of a concussion I sustained when I fainted and struck my head on a hard ceramic floor. The concussion was a blessing in disguise because it helped me to realize that my brain needed training to help me overcome lifelong challenges with anxiety and depression. Paddy Kamen influenced me to follow this path, and as a writer and researcher I find the subject professionally captivating as well as profoundly helpful in my personal life.
